Fun Graphic Tees For Making a Statement

I don't know about you, but I love graphic tees. They are comfortable, versatile and are a fun way to make a statement. I would definitely put the graphic tee into the "summer staple" category for every woman's wardrobe. I'm half surprised my closet isn't full of graphic tees! If you're a graphic tee fanatic too, here are a bunch that are super cool! "How Do I Like My Eggs?" I've Got the Gingham Blues

Here in the south, gingham is a print most fashionistas have in their closet. And after snagging this adorable Stay Sweet Gingham Top from Bella Ella Boutique, I'm definitely going to be adding more of the print to my wardrobe! I love the ruffled style of this top and the way it gently floats away from my body. It's such a versatile piece that can be worn many different ways. This top can be paired with jeans, a skirt, capri pants or shorts. It works for lunch dates with the ladies or a casual night out with your fella. It's so feminine and yet so fun too! Here's a close up of the color and details. (Don't you just love the ruffles?) There's nothing like lounging in the southern summer sun. I already had a pair of royal blue suede pumps to wear with the top- and they matched perfectly . Score! Teal Me About It, Wild One

I still can't believe how hot this summer has been! I haven't had much time to get my legs ready for summer, so I'm spending most of my days in jeans and maxi dresses. Today I stopped by the park in this fun teal leopard print top and tried to enjoy the breeze!   I went with a comfortable pair of jeans that took the look down a notch.   Since this top has a very "open" design, I wore a simple black tank underneath. I wanted to keep the focus of the outfit on the top, so the only jewelry that I wore was a few rings and a small pair of earrings. I straightened my hair to keep things looking classy. I LOVE the open back style of this top, even though I wouldn't wear it by itself. (Maybe 10 years ago I would have.) Still, isn't it super cool (unlike the weather!)? To dress the outfit up, a wore a pair of black heel sandals.  The day was hot, but it was gorgeous! Are you ready for cooler w...

Summer Soiree Style

Sometimes you want to look cute, but not spend a lot of time getting ready. You want to wear something simple, but not boring. That is what I was going for when I got dressed for a friend's birthday brunch recently. It was hot outside, so I wanted to wear something summery, but I wanted to look nicer than I would on an ordinary summer day. I wanted fun summer color with comfortable summer fabrics. Here is the outfit I came up with.   I wore a comfortable aqua crop top with a black skirt (that happens to be reversible and has a fun print on the other side)  I love the lace details in the middle of the top. I chose a round aqua stone necklace and some silver leaf design earrings for jewelry. I went with some black summer heels to add just a hint of fancy to the simple summer ensemble.  aqua crop top: xhilaration from Target | black reversible skirt: mark. silver leaf earrings: c/o Majestical Jewelry | aqua stone necklace: old (...

Pretty in Pink & Peplum

Summer is usually a time for bright colors and vivid prints & patterns. But sometimes it is ok to bring a little spring into your summer. I chose to do that for this look, by wearing an Easter-esque color palette consisting of soft pink jeans and a light aqua colored peplum top.      I love the zipper on the back of the top! I had a circle shaped sparkly aqua necklace that I wore.  For shoes, I went with a tall wedge sandal in caramel brown. Patriotic Pirate

How was your 4th of July? Did you sport an awesome red, white & blue look? I had two of the three colors down- and chose to substitute the blue with black. I found this fun fringe tank at a local boutique and knew it would be the perfect piece to wear on July 4th. I also found these cute black & white striped shorts and paired the two together for a look that I am calling "patriotic pirate." Don't you get a feeling I should walk the plank when you see this ensemble? I wore some dangly circular gold earrings, a gold bangle and a circular style necklace to add some bling to the look and give it some feminine details. I threw a solid red tank under the anchor tank for an extra pop of color and to add a fun layer. This tank is also great for practicing your dance moves. Boating Beauty on the Lake

Ahh...summer. The time for barbeques, water sports and vacations. I was recently boating on the lake in Big Bear and took advantage of the gorgeous scenery for this outfit post. Here is how I do a "summer on the lake" look while boating. I wore my halter style monokini and threw a long green maxi dress over it. I made sure to wear some comfortable metallic flip flops and a sun hat. I topped off the look with some dangly gold earrings- and voila! That is how you do an easy, stylish "summer on the lake" look while boating.
