Boutique Spotlight: NanaMacs Boutique

As a fashion blogger, I do a lot of "window shopping" every day. I follow many different boutiques and retailers on social media so that I can stay in the loop on awesome new products and deals. One boutique that I follow is NanaMacs Boutique . I stumbled across their website serendipitously one day and see new products all the time that I love. Because I think the boutique is so great, I wanted to share some of my favorite NanaMacs products with you. The My Favorite Aztec Wedges are probably my favorite NanaMacs product. I love the fun aztec print, and the style is fun and funky. These would look cute with black leggings and a colorful tunic.   One piece that looks really comfortable and cute is this Pink Seahorse Lace Ruffle Maxi Dress . The seahorse print is unique and youthful, and the style is perfect for spring or summer. I know winter is almost over, but how amazing is this Aztec Me Anything Poncho ? It also has an aztec design, and its neutral color pal...

"Momochromatic" Looks

You probably know what a monochromatic look is....but do you know what a "momochromatic" look is? It's when a mom wears a monochrome outfit, duh! And I had some fun creating 4 different "momochrome" looks, which I am sharing with you here. Gray Momochrome   Ivory Momochrome   Black Momochrome   Raspberry Momochrome   The key to creating a monochrome/"momochrome" look is to wear pieces in the same color family in varying shades. You can also add accessories or combine different textures to add some depth to the look. Try not to wear pieces that vary only slightly in shade, but are obviously different versions of the same color. Have you done the "momochrome" look lately?

Magenta Mama

I'm not usually a fan of winter. I hate the cold, and the winter weather drivers and having to layer my clothes. But this winter, I'm excited that vibrant colors are part of the winter palette. And to celebrate, I chose to sport a bright magenta sweater with some simple gray leggings. As a pregnant fashion blogger, comfort is of utmost importance to me these days. So, do you like my cozy, magenta mama look? I threw a light purple scarf on over my sweater, just to add some warmth and color to the outfit.   I decided to go with some black mid-calf boots, since they are winter appropriate and balance out the brights with a darker neutral. They help the colors to really pop.   I chose silver leaf earrings from Majestical Jewelry to add a hint of fun but still keep the look simple. I decided not to add any more jewelry so the focus could stay on the bright colors. Are you digging the brighter hues for winter?

"Ringing" in the New Year With Hearts

New Year's Eve is one of the most important nights for fashionistas. It is one of the few times a year we can get away with being over the top with the sparkles, glitter and shine. And this year, one of my favorite themes in fashion has been hearts. The shape continues to grow in popularity, and when it comes to jewelry, hearts add the perfect element of love to an ensemble. Here I have created three different New Year's Eve outfits, each with a different heart shaped ring from Invaluable , the world's largest online auction marketplace. Isn't it amazing how one little piece of jewelry can tie a whole look together? Queen of Hearts This look is all about the hearts. A fun winter ruffle dress with hearts, paired with some sassy heeled boots and a simple black clutch go great together, and the diamond heart ring adds a final touch of love to the look. Ring in the new year with this lovable ensemble. Casual Cashmere Even though most New Year'...

Outfit Post: A Cozy Cardigan

Happy Monday, fashionistas!  I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. I had a lovely time reflecting on my many blessings, and stuffing my face with lots of delicious food. Since the weather here was brisk, I decided to wear something comfortable and warm, which resulted in this cozy cardigan ensemble. I wore some light wash skinny jeans and a plain black long sleeved tee. I got cozy in this Long Sleeve Knit Aztec Cardigan and threw an infinity scarf around my neck. This cardigan is really comfortable and easy to wear. And now that I am pregnant, I can continue to wear it for the next several months without worrying that my growing bump will stretch it out. I decided to do some black ankle boots to finish off the look.
