Here's How to Do It/What You'll Need: Look for a matte bronzer for a sun kissed glow. (Shimmery ones can look sweaty the minute you step outside, so stick to matte.) I love tarte Amazonian clay matte bronzer.   Use a big fluffy brush to dust the bronzer everywhere the sun hits your face: tops of cheeks, top of hairline, lightly down your nose and tip of chin. Finding ways to dress your kids in stylish outfits can be a challenge, especially for the mom on a budget. And with the battles many moms face with their stubborn children when it comes to getting dressed, it's no wonder we sometimes let our kids leave the house looking like a hot mess. (Don't judge the mom who shows up at the grocery store with her pajama-clad child!) Even though the weather lately has been more like spring than winter, spring is not yet officially upon us. So I wanted to do one final winter outfit post to transition into the spring season. I haven't had the chance to dress up as much or wear heels during my pregnancy, so a girls' night dinner was the perfect chance to do both. I pulled out my blue suede shoes and new denim leggings to create this look.   With my new denim leggings (a steal at just $3.50!), I wore a royal blue tunic sweater. I added a color contrast and some texture with a long ivory topcoat that has floral details. I went for a layered necklace look, combining a royal blue necklace with a gold one. My blue suede shoes (literally) were the perfect choice for footwear. I love a colorful pump!    I was more comfortable sitting down, without the coat, and showing off my winter blue baby bump. You probably know what a monochromatic look is....but do you know what a "momochromatic" look is? It's when a mom wears a monochrome outfit, duh! And I had some fun creating 4 different "momochrome" looks, which I am sharing with you here. Gray Momochrome   Ivory Momochrome   Black Momochrome   Raspberry Momochrome   The key to creating a monochrome/"momochrome" look is to wear pieces in the same color family in varying shades. You can also add accessories or combine different textures to add some depth to the look. Try not to wear pieces that vary only slightly in shade, but are obviously different versions of the same color. Have you done the "momochrome" look lately?

I'm not usually a fan of winter. I hate the cold, and the winter weather drivers and having to layer my clothes. But this winter, I'm excited that vibrant colors are part of the winter palette. And to celebrate, I chose to sport a bright magenta sweater with some simple gray leggings. As a pregnant fashion blogger, comfort is of utmost importance to me these days. So, do you like my cozy, magenta mama look? I threw a light purple scarf on over my sweater, just to add some warmth and color to the outfit.   I decided to go with some black mid-calf boots, since they are winter appropriate and balance out the brights with a darker neutral. They help the colors to really pop.   I chose silver leaf earrings from Majestical Jewelry to add a hint of fun but still keep the look simple. I decided not to add any more jewelry so the focus could stay on the bright colors. Are you digging the brighter hues for winter?
