Last night, the red carpet fashion at the 67th Emmy Awards was full of variety. Everything from ballgowns in bright colors to long black dresses were worn. And while there were many hits (and misses), I've narrowed down my list of favorites to these five looks.
What do they all have in common? They are simple silhouettes on simply stunning women.

Who knew that behind all of that crazy makeup, big hair and scandalous clothing, there was a gorgeous lady? In this form fitting find, she does anything but make me wanna "gaga."

Metallics are hot this fall, and Penny proves that she is golden hot. Love the way this dress fits her curves and also has some fabulous metallic sparkle. She gets a gold star for this one!

I love the deep burgundy color of this dress. And those off the shoulder straps? So sexy. But not sleazy. This rich toned ensemble looks great with her coloring. Simple, yet sophisticated.
Julie Bowen

She didn't adorn herself with lots of jewelry or wear anything sparkly or eye-catching, but Julie didn't need anything else to shine in this dress. Fabulous strap style and lovely mermaid style bottom.
These five fashionistas prove that you don't need to rock a sparkly, poufy dress to look amazing. Sometimes, even on the red carpet, less is more.
