"Ringing" in the New Year With Hearts

New Year's Eve is one of the most important nights for fashionistas. It is one of the few times a year we can get away with being over the top with the sparkles, glitter and shine. And this year, one of my favorite themes in fashion has been hearts. The shape continues to grow in popularity, and when it comes to jewelry, hearts add the perfect element of love to an ensemble.

Here I have created three different New Year's Eve outfits, each with a different heart shaped ring from Invaluable, the world's largest online auction marketplace. Isn't it amazing how one little piece of jewelry can tie a whole look together?

Queen of Hearts

Hearts

This look is all about the hearts. A fun winter ruffle dress with hearts, paired with some sassy heeled boots and a simple black clutch go great together, and the diamond heart ring adds a final touch of love to the look. Ring in the new year with this lovable ensemble.

Casual Cashmere

Even though most New Year's Eve ensembles are all about the glitz and glam, it's ok to tone things down a bit. If you want to be comfy but still represent the heart, wear a cozy cashmere sweater with a fun pleated skirt. Some neutral suede boots and a heart shaped bag will keep the hearts theme going, and of course add some bling with a diamond ladies ring.

 Green 'n Glitter

Untitled #336

If you really want to sparkle this New Year's Eve, get yourself some glittery pieces to pair with a heart shaped ring. When you wear pieces that have texture and leave only one focal piece, you really make a statement. This look draws attention to the ring, since it is the only piece in the ensemble that has a defined shape.
